Battlestate Games, the developers behind Escape from Tarkov: Arena, have confirmed that the ‘Tactical Map’ battle pass equivalent will remain accessible to players even after the upcoming engine update and the release of Season 2, both expected in mid-April.
This decision was made in response to community concerns regarding the fate of the ‘Tactical Map’. Battlestate Games explicitly stated: “The ‘Customs’ Tactical Map will be available in Escape from Tarkov: Arena even after update 0.5.0. Your progress will be saved regardless of which point of interest you stopped at. If you were postponing your purchase due to the upcoming update – there’s no reason to wait anymore.” This ensures that player progress on the ‘Customs Tactical Map’ will be preserved, regardless of their current stage.
To unlock rewards on the ‘Tactical Map’, players need to collect tokens. These tokens are earned by achieving kills with specific weapons. Additionally, players have the option to exchange multiple surplus tokens for a single required one, facilitating progress through the map.
