After 17 years, Electronic Arts is bringing an end to the classic Plants vs. Zombies HD, a move that sees fans saying a final goodbye to the beloved tower defense game. This decision aligns with EA’s ongoing strategy to gradually decommission servers for its older titles, following a similar recent announcement concerning Battlefield Hardline.

Plants vs. Zombies HD is now being removed from digital storefronts, and all in-game purchase options have been disabled. While the game’s availability and monetization are ceasing, its servers will continue to operate until June 24, 2026, providing players with a window to enjoy their last moments with the title before its ultimate shutdown.
