Tech enthusiasts continue to find innovative methods to circumvent DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection in video games.
Recently, hackers successfully managed to bypass the Denuvo protection implemented in Sniper Elite: Resistance, a game developed and released by Rebellion. The game’s Denuvo DRM proved ineffective against a popular “hypervisor” cracking technique.
However, a significant technical consideration accompanies these types of bypasses: they typically necessitate disabling PC security systems for activation. This practice inherently introduces potential security risks for players’ devices.
Sniper Elite: Resistance has garnered “mostly positive” reviews on Steam. The game is also currently participating in a promotional sale, available until March 26.
