The climactic final stage of the mission unfolds dramatically upon the delivery of the very last egg. A formidable Brood Nexus will menacingly emerge directly above the cargo module, immediately unleashing a relentless wave of enemies. After clearing these immediate threats, players must engage and defeat a powerful boss to successfully complete the mission and ensure the safety of all the precious eggs they’ve gathered.
Developers at Funday Games emphasize a significant distinction from the original Egg Hunt mode: the Survivor version adopts a “star-shaped” mission structure. This means eggs are collected from various outlying points across the map and are always returned to a single, central module.
