Gustav Stachaszewski, one of the creative minds behind the critically acclaimed atmospheric horror game Darkwood, has officially unveiled his latest project: HOARDER, a new psychological horror title.

This upcoming game is scheduled for release on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Publisher Awaken Realms, in collaboration with Byzel Studio, made the announcement for HOARDER, a psychological horror experience set to launch on current-generation consoles and PC. An exact release date for the game has not yet been disclosed.

The development of HOARDER is led by Gustav Stachaszewski, known for his contribution to the cult classic Darkwood. His new endeavor promises an unusual combination of genres and a non-standard narrative approach, setting it apart in the horror landscape.

The core gameplay of HOARDER revolves around a mysterious complex that dynamically shifts and evolves based on the player’s choices and actions. As players progress, they will have the opportunity to pilot a submarine, using a scanner to explore the oceanic depths. The objective is to discover peculiar artifacts and return them to a central base. These collected resources are vital for unlocking new areas within the complex, upgrading existing facilities, and advancing through the intriguing and unfolding storyline.
