Cyberpunk TCG Breaks Crowdfunding Records, Becomes Most Funded Tabletop Game Ever

Artwork from Cyberpunk Trading Card Game

The Cyberpunk Trading Card Game has shattered crowdfunding records, accumulating an astounding sum of over 1.25 billion rubles (approximately $15.6 million USD). This monumental achievement not only solidifies its position as the largest collectible card game (CCG) ever on Kickstarter but also designates it as the most funded tabletop game in the entire history of crowdfunding. Its success has eclipsed previous giants such as Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere RPG, Frosthaven, and Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5.

WeirdCo’s campaign launched with incredible momentum, swiftly reaching its initial funding goal of $100,000 in a mere five minutes on March 17th. The project continued its meteoric rise, largely fueled by the passionate fanbase of the acclaimed video game Cyberpunk 2077 and the popular animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Within just a few days, by March 22nd, total pledges had surged past the $12 million mark. With 15 days still remaining in the campaign, the game has amassed over $15.6 million (1,253,990,948 rubles).

This overwhelming support has empowered the developers at WeirdCo to unlock numerous stretch goals, promising backers a wealth of exclusive bonuses and enhancements. Various pledge tiers were offered, from a foundational set of two starter decks priced at $49 to comprehensive collector’s editions reaching up to $7,999. Backers can anticipate the delivery of their ordered items between October and December 2026.
