Crown of Greed: Majesty-Inspired Fantasy Strategy Launches on Steam

A new fantasy strategy game, “Crown of Greed,” has recently been released on Steam for PC. Drawing inspiration from the classic “Majesty” series, this title invites players to embark on the journey of building and expanding their own kingdom.

Central to “Crown of Greed” is its unique indirect control mechanic. Unlike traditional city-building simulations where players issue direct commands, this game emphasizes motivation and strategy. Your subjects possess their own will, fears, and desires. To achieve your goals, such as clearing out monster dens or exploring perilous ruins, you must master the art of motivation by assigning bounties and rewards. This approach allows players to guide their populace without individually clicking on a single soldier or worker.

In “Crown of Greed,” players will not only manage their burgeoning kingdom but also explore the vast and diverse lands of Rodovia. This world is richly inspired by European medieval folklore and features a variety of intriguing biomes. From dense, ancient forests and treacherous swamps to desolate icy wastes and lands of death, each region presents its own challenges and mysteries. Adventurers will delve into abandoned ruins, dark caves, and forgotten cemeteries, where they will confront a host of terrifying inhabitants, including formidable basilisks, the elusive drowned, and even the legendary Baba Yaga herself.
