The developers of Crimson Desert are continuously working to enhance the game and resolve issues, delivering significant improvements in their latest patch.
Crimson Desert has rolled out update 1.02.00, prioritizing player convenience and fundamental system refinements. A major enhancement is the expanded personal inventory, which can now grow from 240 to an impressive 1000 slots as players progress through the Graymane camp.
Players now have a choice between “basic” and “classic” movement control schemes, allowing them to decide whether acceleration is activated by holding the run button or by repeated presses. Several movement-related skills, such as “Abyss Trace” and “Flight,” have also been simplified. Stamina consumption has been rebalanced for more predictable character behavior, and post-attack responsiveness has been improved to make combat feel less “clunky.”
The update also introduces new customization options, including unique armor and helmet styles for pets, and the ability for players to toggle off their character’s helmet display.
On the technical front, the patch updates the AMD FSR SDK to version 2.2, aiming to enhance frame generation quality. DLSS-related issues have been addressed, specifically resolving excessive video memory usage when Ray Reconstruction is active. Furthermore, dozens of bugs and other general errors have been fixed.
