
Pearl Abyss has acknowledged player feedback regarding Crimson Desert and is actively working to resolve the identified problems.
Following the game’s release, players reported a variety of issues, extending beyond just the confusing control scheme.
In response to player complaints, the developers of Crimson Desert published a “list of known problems” on the game’s Steam community page. However, this publication inadvertently revealed unreleased game content through spoilers.
Subsequently, a warning was added:
The following known issues notice may contain spoilers such as names of quests and bosses. Please proceed with caution when reviewing the list.

Some of the Known Issues in Crimson Desert:
- In certain scenarios, players might observe the Abyss from below the game world, potentially causing minor frame rate drops.
- A bug where the character becomes uncontrollable when attempting to steal fruit from a vendor stall.
- An error causing the character to get stuck within a uprooted tree they are carrying after sustaining damage.
- A bug preventing restored game settings from being saved correctly in specific situations.
- An issue where automatic tracking for the next objective might not function as intended during some quests.
- [PS5 Pro, PS5] The game occasionally crashes when accessing the world map.
- Problems with the game launching correctly via Xbox ROG Ally devices and the Xbox application on PC.
