It appears that PC owners with Intel graphics cards will need to find alternative ways to play the new title.
Following the release of Crimson Desert, players were surprised to discover that the game does not function on Intel GPUs, as the title simply lacks support for these models.
As it turns out, Intel had been attempting to contact the creators of Crimson Desert for several years, offering their assistance:
Achieving stable game performance always requires a collaborative effort between developers and hardware manufacturers. Over the past several years, we have repeatedly reached out to Pearl Abyss, offering help with testing, optimization, and Intel GPU support. We provided early driver and hardware versions, as well as engineering assistance.
However, for reasons unknown, the Pearl Abyss studio never responded to Intel. The developers of Crimson Desert have yet to comment on Intel’s statement or their decision not to support Intel’s graphics cards.
