Crimson Desert Attracts Players, But Path of Exile Still Leads in Weekly Hours – Analyst Report

Analyst Matt Piscatella has provided insights into player engagement for Pearl Abyss’s upcoming title, Crimson Desert, revealing the significant amount of time console players are spending in the game.

Based on the available data, console players are averaging over 20 hours per week in Crimson Desert. However, dedicated fans of Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile often log even more extensive playtimes.

For the week concluding March 28, Crimson Desert reportedly took the top spot on Xbox in the U.S. for average weekly hours per active user, reaching 20 hours. On PlayStation, it secured the second position with an average of 22 hours, trailing only behind Path of Exile in this specific metric.

Matt Piscatella further pointed out that Crimson Desert also ranked within the top 20 games by active users for that week across both Xbox and PlayStation consoles in the U.S.

These statistics are derived from data pertaining to the U.S. market. It is possible that player engagement figures for Crimson Desert could differ in other global regions.
