CD Projekt RED playfully pranked The Witcher 3 community by unveiling a humorous “controller” designed after Geralt’s iconic horse, Roach. Despite this jest, fans continue to eagerly anticipate new story-driven downloadable content (DLC) for the beloved game.
In recent times, numerous rumors have circulated regarding a potential new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, reportedly focusing on the adventures of Ciri.
Aware of these high expectations, the developers at CDPR seized April 1st to playfully announce the “R.O.A.C.H.” controller. This mock project was pitched as offering players a “realistic riding experience” on the game’s famous steed.
However, no official details regarding a genuine DLC for The Witcher 3 have been revealed to date. Many players widely speculate that any real expansion should ideally be announced and launched this year, prior to the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI, to ensure it receives adequate attention and isn’t overshadowed by the colossal launch.
