Brass: Pittsburgh Board Game Crowdfunding Campaign Raises Over $2.3 Million (188M Rubles) in a Day

The crowdfunding campaign for the economic strategy board game “Brass: Pittsburgh” on the Gamefound platform achieved its primary funding goal of 40,376,895 rubles in a remarkable 43 minutes and 32 seconds.

Publisher Roxley initiated the campaign, releasing a comprehensive trailer for the game, which is designed for 2-4 players. The initial target set by the developers was $500,000 (equivalent to 40,376,895 rubles). However, thanks to exceptional support from backers, the project has already amassed an impressive $2,328,867 (188,055,986 rubles). The enthusiastic engagement from fans of the “Brass” series continues to grow, indicating that further funds are likely to be secured in the coming days.

Players have the option to purchase the standard edition of “Brass: Pittsburgh” for $79 (6,379 rubles), or opt for the collector’s edition at $125 (10,094 rubles). Additionally, a bundle that includes “Pittsburgh,” “Lancashire,” and “Birmingham” is available for $350 (28,263 rubles).

All game editions will be offered in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, and Polish. Deliveries to those who pre-ordered are projected for March 2027.

In “Brass: Pittsburgh,” players are transported to late 19th-century industrial America, where they will strive to become influential industrial magnates. Their tasks will involve constructing expansive railway networks, laying pipelines, establishing steel and oil refining enterprises, extracting valuable resources, utilizing distinctive locomotives, and expanding into new markets.

For the Russian market, the board game’s localization and release will be managed by Crowd Games. Pre-orders for the Russian version are anticipated to commence in April.
