Upcoming updates for Assassin’s Creed Shadows will introduce enhanced PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Resolution) support, specifically designed for the PS5 Pro. Sony recently highlighted the significant graphical improvements this technology brings to the gaming experience.
Players can look forward to a noticeable boost in image quality across all available graphical modes, including “Quality,” “Performance,” and “Balanced.”
Robert Foryel, Technical Director, emphasized that the improved PSSR delivers “a sharper image and exceptional stability, effectively eliminating distracting visual artifacts caused by motion and vibration. This creates a smoother, more immersive gameplay experience, allowing players to remain fully engrossed in the virtual world.”
The update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, enabling PSSR support on PS5 Pro, is scheduled for release on April 7th.
