Ubisoft has concluded development on new content for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and today marks the release of a significant update bringing various enhancements and fresh features to the game.
As a special gift to all players, a new Bo weapon has been added. Even without owning the “Claws of Awaji” expansion, this new weapon type can now be acquired in the base game. Following its initial acquisition, the Bo will start appearing as drops from enemies, in treasure chests, and from merchants.
PlayStation 5 Pro users will benefit from PSSR 2.0 support, leading to improved graphics and overall performance. This update makes the scenic Japanese locales, from bustling cities to serene rural areas, appear even more detailed and immersive.
Interestingly, support for mouse and keyboard input has been added for the Nintendo Switch 2, promising more precise character control.
The update also addresses numerous issues, including problems with fast travel points, enemy effects, damage calculations, player statistics, and the user interface. Furthermore, the effectiveness of many perks, abilities, and the effects of armor and weapons have been significantly improved. This is more than just a cosmetic patch; it’s a comprehensive update designed to profoundly enhance the gameplay experience.
