Arc Raiders Streamer Files Police Report After Troll Incident

What began as an in-game prank has escalated into serious real-world consequences.

The recent encounter between streamers NessieDoes and Peach within the world of Arc Raiders quickly spiraled out of control. Their dispute transcended the Embark Studios game, ultimately leading to a YouTube ban for one party and a formal police complaint.

NessieDoes, while playing Arc Raiders with a friend, found himself in the same match as streamer Peach. They conceived a prank: claiming a friend was stuck in a texture glitch, they lured Peach to their location under the pretense of needing help.

Upon entering the designated building, Peach was immediately eliminated. She took the incident personally, reacting by leaving an offensive comment on her killer’s Steam profile and submitting an in-game report against NessieDoes.

NessieDoes later visited Peach’s live stream and typed ‘GG’ (good game) in chat, a gesture that only intensified her anger.

Coincidentally, NessieDoes and Peach encountered each other again in Arc Raiders just a few days later. After Peach was once more eliminated, she publicly called upon her audience to mass-report all of NessieDoes’s accounts.

Subsequently, Peach contacted Embark Studios, successfully securing a 30-day ban for NessieDoes, citing ‘harassment’ as the reason.

NessieDoes responded by releasing a video explaining that their repeated encounters with Peach were purely coincidental, not deliberate stalking or harassment.

Although he successfully appealed the ban, Peach then issued a YouTube strike against his video, alleging it promoted hatred.

To challenge the YouTube strike, NessieDoes had to disclose his personal information. Peach then allegedly used this data to file a police report against him.

She is now accusing NessieDoes of stream sniping and compromising her online safety and privacy.
