The developers of Arc Raiders continue to fine-tune the game’s mechanics and arsenal, releasing update 1.20.0 which brings a series of significant adjustments, bug fixes, and fresh cosmetic additions to the game.
A major focus of this update is the rebalancing of weapon statistics, particularly impacting the Il Toro shotgun. This weapon has received a substantial nerf across several key areas:
- Projectile Damage: Reduced from 7.5 to 7.
- Base Fire Rate: Decreased from 43 to 38.
- Reload Time: Increased from 4.3 seconds to 5.7 seconds.
- Damage Falloff: The penalty for increased distance has been raised from 40% to 50%, making it less effective at longer ranges.
In addition to weapon adjustments, players will find new ways to customize their Raiders with the introduction of new hairstyles and a fresh Rawhide skin.
The update also addresses several gameplay issues to improve the overall experience:
- The selling price for energy ammo clips has been significantly reduced from 1000 credits to 200 credits, making them more accessible.
- A persistent bug causing the constant sound playback of destroyed “Comets” and “Fireballs” has been resolved.
- Map-specific exploits have been patched, including a bug that allowed players to clip into walls on the “Dam Battlefield” map.
- Collision detection on the “Cosmoport” map has been fixed, ensuring smoother navigation and preventing unintended interactions.
This update aims to create a more balanced and polished experience for all Arc Raiders players, responding to community feedback and enhancing game stability.
