The fifth and concluding season of the critically acclaimed series “The Boys” is slated to begin its run on April 8.
Amazon’s streaming service, Prime Video, has officially announced the full episode release schedule for the show’s highly anticipated final season.
The premiere will launch on April 8, 2026, with the first two episodes immediately available on the platform. Following this initial double-episode drop, subsequent episodes will be released weekly, one at a time. The season will comprise a total of eight episodes, with its grand finale scheduled for May 20.
In the climactic final chapter, Homelander definitively solidifies his power and begins to subjugate society to his will. Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), and Frenchie (Tomer Capon) find themselves at Camp Freedom, while Annie (Erin Moriarty) endeavors to organize a resistance. Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) mysteriously disappears, and a returning Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) decides to deploy a virus capable of eradicating all supes. This drastic measure sets in motion a chain of events that could irrevocably alter the world.
